Prior to the delicious beginnings of a film and television career thanks to a commercial for Hood ice cream, you may have interacted with Alecia as an atmosphere character for Walt Disney World Entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort, where she embodied a wide range of personalities.

While expanding her commercial roster with clients such as Krispy Kreme, Stop & Shop, McDonald’s and Vistaprint, she was cast as the Scuba Bride in feature film 27 Dresses, starring Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, Knocked Up) and James Marsden (X-Men, Enchanted). Soon thereafter, Alecia portrayed a story-hungry TV news reporter in award-winning, experimental sci-fi indie feature Circuit.

Alecia starred as Hennessy Greybriar in crime thriller Interference, which entered the festival circuit at the 16th Roxbury International Film Festival, screening at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. She plays vindictive friend Ellen in dramatic short Time Heals All Wounds, and serves up insolent customer service in the comic Eyestar web series, produced by award-winning director Kevin Anderton (The Good Son).

In Frank the Bastard, released in 2015 and starring Rachel Miner (Guiding Light, Californication) and Chris Sarandon (The Princess Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas), Alecia appears as the Girl in the Viking Hat. Alecia has also worked on studio-backed feature Moonrise Kingdom, written and directed by Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox), and showcasing an all-star cast, including: Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Jason Schwartzman and Harvey Keitel.

For television, Alecia played clueless-yet-loveable teacher Jenn Randall in TV sitcom pilot The Six Fifty-Seven and was a featured legal aide in the dramatic Warner Bros. TV episodic Waterfront, directed by Richard J. Lewis (Person of Interest, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), and starring Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos) and William Baldwin (Hot in Cleveland, Gossip Girl).

Stepping behind the camera, Alecia served as assistant director on film Fate Scores (Winner, 2009 Vancouver Asian Film Festival; Official Selection of Sedona International Film Festival), which was written, directed and produced by Albert M. Chan (Law & Order: SVU, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past).
