Print and Modeling
In
2003, Alecia ventured into the world of print out of sheer curiosity. "It
was something new and different and it intrigued me, so I thought I’d
try it," she says. After three cattle call auditions and one print
job, an avenue appeared that Alecia had never before considered taking. "This
casting director called me at home and wanted to know if I would be interested
in modeling shoes for a show," Alecia explains. "She needed
to find someone with a size 6 foot and remembered me."
Like Cinderella and her glass slipper, it was a perfect fit. "I
had a fabulous time! It was crazy—thirty pairs of shoes and four
wardrobe changes in 45 minutes—but I loved it. I couldn’t
wait to do it again." And do it again she did.
With a variety of print ads for companies like Hewlett-Packard, Clarks
of England and White Mountain Shoes in her folio, and runway experience
mounting, keep your eyes peeled—you’ll be seeing much more
of her feet—and her face. And you’ll wish you were
in Alecia’s shoes, too.

Film, music, voiceover, modeling. No matter the medium, Alecia always
manages to leave an indelible impression. And things are only getting
better for this multi-talented maven. But of these four distinctly different
paths will Alecia ever choose just one?
"I don’t know. Do I even have to?" And she flashes her
radiant smile. |
